TAGLaw members will be the first international group of lawyers to gain access to Quimbee’s innovative nano-learning platform focused on developing practical legal skills.
TAGLaw®, the global alliance of more than 160 independent law firms in over 90 countries, recently announced a partnership with Quimbee, the industry leading online platform for legal education. Through TAGLaw’s “Friends of TAG” program, more than 10,000 lawyers who are part of TAGLaw will gain preferential access to Quimbee’s resources and play a vital role in the ongoing development and release of new courses aimed at practicing lawyers.
For years, Quimbee has been making waves in the law school educational arena, offering web-based supplemental resources to law students in the United States. Quimbee’s new focus on practicing attorneys will utilize the same innovative nano-learning and module-based platform, delivering courses taught by some of the world’s leading experts in legal-skills training.
“When we became aware of Quimbee’s new focus on courses for practicing lawyers, we knew this was something we had to deliver to our members,” said Chris Cervellera, Executive Director of TAGLaw and TAG Alliances. “I’ve personally used and benefited from Quimbee’s courses in my own studies as a part-time law student, and understand the value and impact of nano-learning, especially for professionals who are continually on the move. All of us at TAGLaw are excited and confident that Quimbee’s courses for practicing lawyers will be an innovative and dynamic resources for our members. This is a game changer for legal skills training.”
“TAGLaw members are some of the most innovative firms out there, with the deepest commitment to continuing education and training for their attorneys,” said Matt Sellers, founder and chief executive officer, Quimbee. “This year, we’re looking forward to bringing our suite of professional-development courses to TAGLaw, but also hearing from members about the kind of content that will most serve their needs right now.”
“Quimbee’s business-development courses offer proven, practical advice and step-by-step instructions developed through one-to-one and group coaching sessions with hundreds of lawyers across dozens of practice areas, said Eric Dewey, Principal of Group Dewey Consulting, a certified Quimbee Instructor and the creator of Quimbee’s business development courses. “The courses get at the heart of what lawyers must do to develop powerful relationships and attract new clients. Plus, the courses include worksheets and templates that enable lawyers to put the techniques to work immediately,”
