Bennett to Manage Blaney McMurtry LLP 

Michael J. Bennett has been appointed Managing Partner of Blaney McMurtry LLP.  In addition to his new management responsibilities, Michael will continue his practice in securities and corporate finance law.  He acts for clients in public and private offerings of corporate securities, syndications, mutual, pooled and segregated funds. Michael also provides ongoing advice and services to public issuers with respect  compliance with regulatory authorities, financing needs, shareholder communications and related materials. He assists with public company mergers, takeover bids, acquisitions, related party transactions,  registrations and requests for exemptive relief from securities authorities and other issues of a general corporate nature. Michael is a member of the Securities Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission.
