Kirton McConkie (Utah, USA) is pleased to announce the addition of international and corporate attorney Barbara Bagnasacco, who recently joined the firm as a Shareholder and will lead the European Markets practice.
Ms. Bagnasacco has extensive experience with domestic and international clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, foreign direct investment, EB-5 investments, distribution, agency and licensing matters, and market entry strategies. She also has experience with corporate governance issues, including compliance with data privacy regulations, preparing Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) policies and related training for employees, and FCPA due diligence. She frequently advises clients on the establishment, structure, and compliance of international operations. Ms. Bagnasacco, who regularly advises clients in Europe, is licensed to practice transactional law in Europe and litigation in Italy.
The newly organized European Markets practice will take advantage of the firm's significant international legal capabilities to assist European clients wishing to start or expand business operations in the U.S. and American-based clients that wish to do the same in Europe.
