Before founding JARQUIN - GARCIA, Emiliano Jarquin was a senior attorney and partner in the firm of Garcia & Bodan. He interrupted service there for two years to serve in the Legal Department of the Central American Bank. His co-founder, Maria Eugenia Garcia, was selected, as one of the Leading Intellectual Property Specialists in Latin America by The Latin Lawyer Magazine Volume 4 August 2005. She acted as the Intellectual Property Regional Director for Garcia & Bodan for three years. In addition to the two partners, the firm employs four associates and retains two distinguished attorneys as "Of Counsel." Ramiro Jerez has been professor of civil procedure for two decades, and Sergio Garcia has had nearly a half century of public service in such diverse areas as Managua's Second Criminal District Judge, to "Mayor Officer" at the ministry of Governance, to Legal Advisor at the Embassy of Japan -- a post he held for 40 years!
