Currently serving as managing partner of Brouse McDowell, Jeff's practice includes corporate counseling, commercial transactions and litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and real estate. Jeff represents clients in the manufacturing, construction and service industries, including Welty Building Company Ltd., Bedell-Kraus Flexographic Rubber Inc. and Rohrer Corporation. In addition, he serves as counsel for public agencies such as the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the office of the Summit County Executive. Inside Business magazine recently selected Jeff as one of the region's "Leading Lawyers" and he was also named a 2005 Ohio Super Lawyer in a peer- and achievement-based review.

Professional/Civic Activities
Jeff serves on the board of directors of North Akron Savings Bank, the board of trustees of the Akron Civic Theater and is a member of the Silver Lake Village Planning Commission. He is also involved with the Blue Coats, a nonprofit organization supporting safety forces and the Social Services Advisory Board of Summit County.
President of the Akron Bar Association in 2002, Jeff is currently chair of the Ohio Supreme Court Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline. He is a Fellow of the Akron Bar Foundation, a member of the Commercial Law League of America and is certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification.
