Nathalie Maier-Bridou, born in 1961, is a German and a French attorney. She advises business enterprises from French and English speaking countries on German commercial and employment law.
Typical matters handled by Ms. Maier-Bridou include:
drafting and negotiating contracts involving international commercial transactions;
representing foreign investors in the setting up of subsidiaries and in the acquisition of equity participations in Germany;
legal relationships between companies and their managing directors and managerial employees;

Nathalie Maier-Bridou studied law at University of Saarbrücken (Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand) (Germany), at the University of Frankfurt (Master of Laws), and at the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne, D.E.A.). Before studying law, she studied linguistics in Germany and in the USA. She holds a German graduate degree in translation (University of Saarbrücken) and is a certified translator for German, French, and English.
Nathalie Maier-Bridou is admitted as a German attorney in Frankfurt and as a French attorney in Paris. After graduating from the École de formation du Barreau de Paris (CAPA, bar exam), she began her career as an attorney in the Paris office of the German law firm Heuking Kühn Celestine & Weil (later Weil & Associés). After working for 3 years in Paris, Ms. Maier-Bridou returned to Germany in 1991. Until 2002, she worked in a German-French law and accounting firm in Frankfurt. She has been with GGV since 2003.
Ms. Maier-Bridou is a member of GGV's German-French practice group ("Equipe Franco-Allemande").
Nathalie Maier-Bridou is Conseiller du commerce extérieur de la France (French Foreign Trade Advisor), vice-president of the German-French Business Club of Frankfurt, and is a Knight of the French Legion of Honor.
