Rona is a recognised leader in the field of health and safety law and defender reparation. Well known for her expertise in relation for offshore accidents, her client base is predominantly from the oil and gas sector. Most recently, Rona has been involved in the Fatal Accident Inquiry and claims arising out of a fatal gas release on the Brent Bravo Installation. Rona also worked as part of the team handling the multiple claims arising out of the Piper Alpha disaster and the ocean Odyssey explosion. Representing employers and insurers, she has particular experience of health and safety prosecutions; Fatal Accident Inquiries; complex damage claims, including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); disaster claims and offshore pollution.
