MacLeod, Q.C., R. Malcolm

Malcolm, hailing from Amherst, Nova Scotia, received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours, English) degree (1975) and Bachelor of Laws degree (1978) from the University of New Brunswick.  After moving from Articled Clerk to Associate to Partner at the law firm of Patterson, Smith, Matthews and Grant in Truro, Nova Scotia, Malcolm went on to become President & CEO of The Johnson Scholarship Foundation, which helps see disadvantaged people receive education.

Malcolm currently serves as Counsel to our firm, specifically the Personal Injury Team.

Malcolm has acted as lead counsel in proceedings at all levels of Courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada and has appeared before numerous Administrative boards and Tribunals in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.  Malcolm has acted as Counsel to Northern Regional Health Board and its predecessors and acted as litigation counsel to several National Insurance Corporations and significant Nova Scotia Corporations.  Malcolm has also provide Labour and employment counsel service to several Atlantic Canada employers and maintains a large Personal Injury and Wrongful Dismissal litigation practice.
