Ms. Gheem is a member of Kirton McConkie's Intellectual Property Practice Section. She focuses on Intellectual Property Law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names and Internet-based intellectual property violations, trade secrets, unfair competition law, and licensing. Having earned the fundamental equivalent of a physics degree while in law school, Ms. Gheem has a strong technological background in both mechanical and soft electrical engineering technologies. She also has an extensive understanding of computer software through her experience as an independent contractor designing customized software.


  • Ms. Gheem's combined literary and technological background has proved helpful in preparing and prosecuting numerous patent applications in the fields of mechanical, software, and electronics technologies
