Mr. Turner is a member of Kirton McConkie's International Law Practice Section. His practice focuses on assisting U.S.-based companies with cross-border business transactions that include tax and data privacy compliance, market entry and business strategies, product registration, distribution, export controls, outgoing business immigration and corporate and non-profit entity formation assistance. Mr. Turner's primary regional areas of expertise and experience are Latin America and Africa. Mr. Turner has been named as one of Utah Business Magazine's "Legal Elite" in the International Law category and as one of Mountain States Super Lawyers' "Rising Stars." He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Utah Council for Citizenship Diplomacy and is part of the Executive Committee of the International Section of the Utah State Bar Association.

  • Negotiated numerous settlement, audiovisual and license agreements for multi-national corporation with operations worldwide
  • Advised multi-national non-profit corporation on real estate acquisitions and maintenance in several countries in the Caribbean
  • Represented multi-national company client in its acquisition of investment properties in South America; managed legal entity formation, cross-border tax planning, debt and equity structuring and due diligence process for the transaction
  • Successfully negotiated and advised nutritional client in structuring its international sales protocols for South Korea
  • Advised several multi-national for-profit and non-profit clients on corporate governance strategies for their subsidiaries and branches worldwide
  • Managed relationships with local counsel on behalf of multi-national corporate client with operations in several countries
  • Advised numerous direct sales companies on establishing and expanding their operations in multiple countries worldwide
