A founding partner of Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, Jim Cook has helped the firm to carve out its niche in the competitive business law landscape.  He is known as a business lawyer who is dedicated to entrepreneurial and technology-based businesses.
Jim advises clients on issues throughout the life cycle of their businesses, ranging from start-up, to financing and growth, to a sale or other exit.  Examples of these issues include choice and organization of a business entity, buy-sell and other agreements between owners, debt financings, venture capital and other equity financing arrangements, joint ventures and strategic alliances, stock option and other incentive plans, sales and distribution agreements, licensing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial and contractual arrangements.
Jim is active in the community, holding numerous positions in professional, technology, and non-profit organizations.
