Amy is a member of the Business Law team, and focuses her practice on tax issues for her business clients including incorporations, reorganizations, acquisitions, succession planning, trusts and estate planning.

Amy was born and raised in New Germany, Nova Scotia, and now shares her home in Halifax with her husband, her daughter and son and her husband’s parents. She has continued her training by completing Parts I and II and III of the In-Depth Tax Course offered by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (formerly The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants), and recently completed the advanced course on In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner Managed Business.

Amy currently sits on the board of the Greater Burnside Business Association. In her spare time, Amy enjoys the practice of yoga and fitness - that is, of course, when she’s not spending her time with family and friends.
