William Furnish is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group, focusing on complex commercial litigation and professional liability. William has experience representing clients in both state and federal court, arbitration, mediation and administrative proceedings.

Prior to joining Osborn Maledon, William was a litigation and trial associate in Latham & Watkins LLP’s New York office. In this role, he advised and represented Big Four accounting firms, pharmaceutical manufacturers and other institutional clients in connection with securities, professional liability, intellectual property and commercial litigation. William’s practice has also incorporated significant pro bono work, including representing asylum seekers, directing a legal clinic for homeless youth and representing veterans seeking disability benefits.

Before going to law school, William served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Armenia, where he taught first through 10th grade English, directed a school renovation project and trained other English teachers.
