Jamie graduated with a BSc in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business in 2005, an LLB (Hons) from the University of Liverpool in 2011, and a PPC with a Commendation from the Truman Bodden Law School, Cayman Islands in 2012.
Prior to and during the course of his legal studies, Jamie worked as a Senior Analyst at Krys Global, during which time he received a great deal of exposure in numerous high profile engagements, including those involving insolvency with cross-border jurisdiction components, fraud and receiverships. Jamie also gained invaluable experience during his time at DMS Offshore Investment Services, the largest management/fund governance firm in the Cayman Islands focused on serving the hedge fund industry, during which he was charged with assisting independent directors with the discharge of their duties.
Jamie articled at Walkers and was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in 2015, following which he joined Solomon Harris. He is an Associate Attorney in the Commercial Litigation, Insolvency and Corporate Recovery practice, where he has a broad-based practice specialising in complex cross-border disputes and commercial, civil, insolvency and trusts litigation. Jamie’s practice also involves advising on family law, with a particular focus on contentious and non-contentious divorce, separation, high net worth financial and ancillary relief, child and spousal maintenance, as well as immigration law and employment law.
Admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands, 2015.
