Racine’s Employment Practice Welcomes a Fifth Partner: Philippe Rogez

Racine is pleased to announce that Philippe Rogez will join the firm as a partner, along with an associate, Amanda Galvan, to strengthen the firm’s employment law practice in Paris, which now has five partners, two counsels and eleven associates.

Philippe Rogez represents companies (French and foreign groups and their subsidiaries, as well as SMEs and intermediate-sized enterprises) in the banking, insurance and industrial logistics sectors. He notably advises companies with respect to collective bargaining matters and on their transformation projects, including sale, merger, acquisition and reorganization transactions.

Philippe has developed a specific expertise in financial regulation applying to French companies active in foreign capital markets.

Philippe Rogez and Amanda Galvan will work in complete synergy with the Racine’s other practice groups. Their arrival underscores the will of the firm’s employment team in Paris to continue its growth, to strengthen its international offering and to diversify its activities.

Philippe, 39, began his career with Flichy Grangé Avocats in 2003 before joining Raphaël Avocats in 2008, where he became a partner in 2012.

With a post-graduate degree (DESS) in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution from the University of Paris II Assas, he is also a former student of King’s College (LLM, University of London).

Amanda Galvan began her career with Fromont Briens in 2010 before joining Raphaël Avocats in 2014. Amanda, 32, has a Master’s 2 degree in employment law and a Master’s degree in business law from the University of Paris II Assas.
