Korea - US Free Trade Agreement Takes Effect

On Thursday, March 15, 2012, the US-Korea Free Trade Agreement was implemented in both the U.S. and Korea. While the agreement has generally gone by the acronym KORUS

, documentation from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) refers to it as the UKFTA. The final text of the agreement can be found at US - Korea FTA Final Text.
