The Uruguayan Government has announced the call for expressions of interest for the concession of the port grain terminals in Fray Bentos and Paysandú (“Terminals”).

The Terminals face the rivers which connect Paraguay, South of Brazil and Uruguay with the Atlantic Ocean. They are used for storage, packaging and transport of grains and derivatives.

As of today, Fray Bentos has a plant for the drying and conditioning of grain, with a storage capacity of 20,500 tons. The volume shipped in 2013 was beyond 151,000 tons.

Deadline to express interest along with background information, expires on October 30, 2015.
