Brouse McDowell, a leading business law firm based in Northern Ohio, welcomes Daniel K. Glessner as the new managing partner of the firm. Glessner succeeds Marc B. Merklin who served as managing partner for eight years.

Since joining Brouse McDowell in 2008, Glessner has focused on corporate and health care issues, providing legal counsel for hospitals, physician group practices, dialysis centers, ancillary health care companies, and other health care entities.

As a result of the growing demand for legal services in litigation and arbitration, Guerrero Olivos expanded its team by absorbing the dispute resolution team of Della Maggiora Eyzaguirre Ferrada.

Next April 1, 2020 a group of lawyers specialized in litigation and arbitration will join the Guerrero Olivos Dispute Resolution team, led by partner Sergio Yávar.

The law firm of von Briesen & Roper, s.c. announced Monday the election of Susan Lovern as President and Chief Executive Officer. Lovern is the firm’s first woman President and CEO.

Lovern, who chairs the firm’s Commercial and Business Litigation Section, began her legal career at von Briesen 25 years ago as a summer associate. She has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2011 and chaired the firm’s Recruiting Committee from 2002-2011.

Gurugram based consumer goods start-up, The Moms Co. (Amishi Consumer Technologies Pvt Ltd.) has raised USD $ 5 million in a Series B funding round from its existing investors, DSG Consumer Partners and Saama Capital.
