MUNSCH HARDT ADDS NEW ASSOCIATE IN DALLAS OFFICE
DALLAS – July 1, 2008 – Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt), a Texas-based commercial law firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, today announced that Leslie P. Fisher has joined the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group as an Associate.
Leslie has experience counseling public and private companies in general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities placements, public reporting and other securities-related matters, corporate governance and formation and structuring of business entities. Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Leslie worked as a staff attorney in the Fort Worth, Texas office of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement and at other large national law firms.

James D. Jordan Receives Recognition from Dallas Business Journal

Zul Rafique Tops IFLR MalaysiaZul Rafique & partners, the TAGLaw member for Malaysia, has been declared National Law Firm of the Year 2008 by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR).
This is the fourth win for the 9 year old firm, having had its maiden success in 2002 and a hat-trick in 2005 and 2006. The IFLR Asian Awards Ceremony was held at the Island Shangri La Hotel, Hong Kong.
The firm also clinched an award for Malaysia Deal of the Year. The award conferred by the Islamic Finance News was based on the firm’s involvement in the issuance by MBB Sukuk Inc of USD 300 million subordinated certificates, a transaction which represents the world’s first Islamic US Dollar denominated bank capital Sukuk. The Islamic Finance News Awards Ceremony was held at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur.
