Two Dykema Attorneys Also Chosen for the Foundation’s LEAD Academy in 2019

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that three of its San Antonio-based attorneys were chosen to hold leadership positions with the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation for 2019. Lindsay Riley was named president-elect, Danielle Rushing will serve as secretary, and Melanie Fry will remain in her position as a director with the Foundation.

The M&A Advisor today announced that Paul Steven Singerman is the recipient of the 2019 M&A Advisor Lifetime Achievement Award. Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that Brian A. Colao, Director of Dykema’s Dental Service Organizations Industry Group, was selected for inclusion in Group Dentistry Now’s “2019 DSO Influencer’s List.” Colao is just one of seven individuals chosen for the publication’s inaugural list and is the only attorney to receive this recognition.

Piper Alderman has advised Paid By Coins in relation to it’s acquisition by Mobecom. The global customer-engagement technology developer agreed to pay $6m to $20m, depending on revenue targets achieved, for Paid by Coins. The start-up is a cryptocurrency payment platform developer that came out of Australian technology innovator Lakeba. Paid by Coins has achieved one of the largest potential acquisition deals for a business founded only 7 months ago.

Piper Alderman Partners Michael Bacina and Andrea Beatty advised on the deal, providing legal advice in relation to financial services regulation of the blockchain and cryptocurrency compliance of Paid By Coins.

Piper Alderman has advised dorsaVi Limited (a wearable sensor technology company listed on the ASX) on its issuance of underwritten rights.

The partially underwritten pro-rata non-renounceable rights issue seeks to raise up to $3.2million before costs in order to provide dorsaVi with additional working capital.
