Steve joined Kuits as Head of Real Estate Finance in 1999, before taking the helm in 2008. Operating from a single site in Manchester city centre, Kuits now employs 200 people and has a turnover of £13.6m. Kuits will celebrate its 110-year anniversary in 2019.

Steve’s shortlisting is grounded on his strong leadership skills and commerciality, having nurtured a unique law firm culture that boasts an impressive SME client base and one of the highest staff retention rates in the Manchester legal market.

The news comes shortly after Kuits was named Regional Employer of the Year at the British Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards, which recognise and reward excellence in business across all sectors.

Executive Partner for Kuits, Robert Levy, said: “This terrific achievement confirms what we, as a firm, have known for a long time – that in Steve we have the best leader and developer of people to navigate us through what is an increasingly complex market. In my view, there is not a person more deserving of this accolade in the North West legal sector and we are incredibly proud of him.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester on 31st January 2019.
