The Uruguayan Government has called an international bid in order to promote its association with private investors for the development of current business related to the production, commercialization and distribution of portland cement and lime.

The bidding terms are already available. Due date for offers submission is September 12, 2023.

The association would involve the exploitation --for both domestic and foreign markets-- of four (4) already operating plants owned by the State. Such plants would be assigned to pertaining local corporations, whose main shareholders would be those awarded companies resulting from such international bid.

The business association would remain in force for a period of forty (40) years.
